UMAX AstraSlim 1200 Scanner Mac Driver.

Hi, I've got a UMAX AstraSlim 1200 Scanner, and I'm struggling to get a Driver for it. I've searched high and low online, but nothing's turned up. Just wondered if anyone knew of a UMAX Driver or Third Party Driver that would be compatible with my Scanner? Really desperate to get the thing hooked up!

I'm running a G4 Power Mac, on Mac OS 10.4.11.

It seems to be supported by SANE (it's listed as good in their compatibility database). OSX versions of SANE are here.

Note I've not used any of this: it could be a pain to setup...

One of the reasons I gave up on Umax, they don't tend to do legacy support and some of their old scanners not even the open groups and silverfast support.

Might try the SANE drivers, and there is another group out there similar to the printer support site ... though I can't remember the link.
