uMB and Blackberry Sync Issues...Help

I am thinking of getting a Blackberry Storm, but has anyone been able to sync with their Storm and Mac. I tried the RIM/Mac Sync software it does not work? I would prefer not to buy the Missing Sync if I do not have to.

Looking to see what everyone is running?

I bought a curve and missing link, but I am still SOL.

It seems like PocketMac is hit/miss with users. I've had no problems getting my BlackBerry to sync. If it doesn't work for you, the only effective and solid solution is to get Missing Sync.
