Hi guys, I recently picked up a 20" Dell S2009W for $99 and it's pretty damn amazing, definitely replacing my old 19" Westinghouse monitor.

I'd like some tips on calibrating the color profile of the display (as well as my uMBP's display).

The model number for my uMBP is 9C84, if it helps at all :)

Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!

Apple's built-in calibration tools are pretty straightforward, so I'm not sure what we can help with. On each monitor, just run  -> System Preferences -> Displays -> Color -> Calibrate. If you want to check the calibration, find a variety of photos with different dominant colours and white/black points, open each in Preview, and drag the Preview window so that it spans both displays.

Perfect calibration is very difficult, especially with glossy displays, so just aim for something that looks reasonably similar on both.
