Hi there, I recently bought an ACD, and it seems that my MBP is now running more hotter than ever.

Back in time, I barely heard the fans, but now everytime I do some photoshop work, ffffff, here comes the fans, and it's really annoying to me. (Doing the same work on 2008 iMacs doesn't get me this annoying fan noise)

Buying a good cooling pad would solve my problem? someone like this:

They claim a 22ºC temp decrease, but...a 20db fan (850rpm) is audible? I want ZERO o nearly ZERO noise.

The fans are audible (not very) and I'm only seeing a few degrees (celsius) decrease in the idle temps. I love the Aeolus stand, don't get me wrong, every little bit helps but 22C is not realistic.

Some reviews from the Pc world:

The temps recorded for a 30 minute run of 3 Mark 2005 were:

Ambient Board: 39 degress
Core (both): 65 degrees
GPU: 63 degrees

With the cooler:

The temps recorded for a 30 minute run of 3 Mark 2005 were:

Ambient Board: 44 degress DELTA +5 degrees
Core (both): 51 degrees DELTA -14 degrees
GPU: 52 degrees DELTA -11 degrees

-14 degrees on CPU!!!
