Hi,

I'm so happy with my new laptop. However, when the battery has 0% charge remaining, the laptop doesn't sleep as it should. It just turns off because the battery is completely empty. Maybe it sleeps but only a few seconds and than turns off. Is it normal? I thought it should has enough charge to enter in sleep mode for hours.

Thanks,
Andre

It doesn't really enter sleep mode but it saves all the power so it can save the state where you were in before the battery reached 0 percent.

When you charge again, you don't have to reboot but it just starts up at the stage you were in.

And is it normal? When this happens is it a 'safe shutdown'?

Thanks!
