Just bought a new iPod Touch and it died. It lasted long considering I was downloading, and using snapchat and the app store. But now I'm charging it and as soon as I power it on it heats up on the top very quickly. Should I trade it in for a new one or is it normal for new devices. I don't know. Please help

If I understand correctly, you are concerned that your iPod is warming up while it charges. I have noticed this too on my 6th gen. Once it is fully charged, recharging it doea not produce the same heat.
