umporting songs into iTunes

After importing songs from a folder from a folder on my mac into itunes library, is it ok to delete the ones in the original folder?

Unimporting probably falls into one of two categories:
Exporting or Deleting.

As long as the music has been copied into the iTunes folder you should be fine, however you will have to update iTunes to show the location has changed.

I don’t think he meant unimporting, I think he just typed a u instead of an i by accident.
