Un-De-Bass audio when iSub is plugged in

When you plug the iSub in, all bass in the speakers connected to the headphone jack is set to low. I want to keep the bass in my regular speakers and have iSub working as well. I don't see a setting in Preferences for this. How do I go about doing this?
