Hi there, this is my first post..
I am new switcher, just got my intel iMac 3 days ago. It's been a blast playing around with my new computer.
I have one problem so far, well I had a few problems but this is the one that I was not able to fix...
I can't seem to copy or move the files from my external hard disk. It only has a USB 2.0 connection. I am able to read the files on it but I am not able to use the files on it at all. Tried copying, opening the files - no success. I can use the disk on my old PC but not on the mac. (But it won't make me go back )
Is it something to do with permissions? I have tried formatting it on my new iMac. Unfortunately it still wont do anything. I had to format it to msdos on disk utilities because i plan to use it on both platforms.
