Unable to activate Screen Sharing

All of a sudden for some reason, although the option is not greyed out, screen sharing is not activating...

Clicking to activate results in nothing happening...

Any ideas on how or what to reset on OS X to re-enable this feature? Or is there a way to activate/deactivate via the command line in the terminal?

I have rebooted, several times, reset disk permissions, cleared system caches, user caches, used main menu pro application even to remove corrupt preferences...

I even created another admin user, new user also unable to turn on Screen Sharing...


So far nothing has worked...

Any other ideas...? I'd hate to have to rebuild this box again....
