Unable to add printer using new late 2016 MBP

Anyone else with a late 2016 MBP having trouble adding a network printer? I have a Samsung AirPrint printer that my late 2011 MBP easily finds and sets up the first time. When I try it with my new late 2016 MBP, it gives me the following "An error occurred while trying to add the selected printer." If I try to manually add the printer, I get the error message that the Mac is unable to communicate with the printer at this time.

Have to tried to set up by plugging it in to USB? Sometimes printers can be wonkly like that. Once you set up wired it will work wirelessly too. If that doesn't work could be the driver needs updating since this is an all-new model.

Thanks for the reply. My USB hub doesn't arrive until tomorrow so I can't try the USB route.
