Hi.

I am setting up my new iPhone but I can't add previously purchased apps. I used to have an old Apple ID to purchase over a dozen apps. I can still see them in my apps list but once I hook up my iPhone, they don't show up in the available sync list. I'm assuming that this is due to me being signed in with the new Apple ID and not the old one.

Is there a way to sign in with the old ID and simultaneously have these two lists available at the same time so I can add them from the computer? I'm worried the only way to download these apps is through the iPhone itself and if this is the case then I'm pooped because I forgot my security questions (which is why I created the new Apple ID to begin with).

Any ideas?

Thank you.

i don't think this is possible, you should of never made a new apple id AND used it for purchases

I'm sure there is still a way to call apple care and see what it takes to get your old account back

have you tried looking in keychain access for old passwords ?
