Hi all

Having problems adding new shows to up next in Apple TV app. When ever I do they don’t appear in the queue. I go back and check the show and the show has not been ticked as added to up next.

The problem only occurs on Apple TV 4K. I can add stuff to TV app on iOS. Although it doesn’t then update on Apple TV.

Started today. If I watch something already in my queue the episode updates and changes on completion. If I watch something new in a streaming app that doesn’t add it to up next either.
Anyone else with this issue?

Bizarrely it just popped up all the things I watch added to test!
However I can’t remove them now!

Click remove or mark as watched and the disappear for a second and then reappear.

guess there’s something weird going on with the service....

Have you gotten any Firmware Updates lately? If so, or whenever you do, "Unplug the unit from the Power for a Minute". This clears out a lot of old files, apks and stuff that then will allow the new software to "seat" better without being "crowded" with clearing out caches, old files and whatnot. This is what I do with any device that gets FW Updates. I have found that the TV4K that I have seems to go wonky after an update, so the Power Cycling is a must these days. It doesn't always fix the problem, but can help.

The next thing is it sounds like an interaction between several different applications. One app changes something very little can screw up the whole function. I was watching mine last night and thinking how nice it is that they have this kind of interaction. Then I realized that it wasn't as complete once I went digging. So I may have some of the same problems that would be application interaction as you do.

How this helps.
