Unable to apply new watch face on series 5

Hello,

Everytime I have to restart iwatch to apply a new watch face. Is there any fix for this ? Its a pain to restart most of the time.

I've never heard of that and can't imagine where you are getting stuck changing the watch face.

why are you having to restart?
(what does the watch do)

if complications aren't updating, sometimes launching the related apps will get it working.

Am referring to aplying watch face from iphone.

I would try an unpair and re-pair

when you unpair, it will backup your watch, you can restore from that backup, so you shouldn't loose data.
