Hello,
I'm pretty sure some of you are familiar with MMORPGs, where as some of you probably too installed windows on your Mac for that very reason to still be able to play it with some friends.
I tried to do the same, and I printed out the installation manual for Bootcamp, followed every step, and got to a moment where I could use wireless internet. I was happy.
However, here is where my first proble started. My windows (which is a Vista, btw) couldn't detect my HD. I downloaded my MMORPG through my Mac and thought, "It's pretty stupid to download it twice, heck, I'll just put it on my HD and transfer it."
Well, it did say: "you have some hardware with mass capacity on your Windows," but it didn't let me open it for there were only my /:C drive and my DvD thing. (No, I'm not that good with computers. I can only play games on it and use it for designing stuff. xD )
So because of this problem, I thought maybe it had something to do with my Mac-side. I switched back, found there was no such problem, switched back to the Windows side to try it out and it all of a sudden said: "you have limited access to your network."
I was stumped, because this wasn't like that at all on my Mac side. So I thought it might be a driver problem, so I re-installed them hoping it would work again. Nope, didn't work, instead it got worse. It says now: "Unable to connect to network" and it will only allow me to connect to an ethernet network (using a Lan-cable).
So, I'm not sure what to do. I just followed the instruction manual I downloaded from Apple itself and...yeah. Now I'm nowhere.
Of course, I've already checked the forum itself. None of the topics have the solution to my problem. So, unless I didn't find it (please, redirect me then!), please help me!
Very much appreciated!
