unable to connect xbox 360 wireless adapter to Airport Express/cant find ip add

i have a airport since 30/5/08 and it has worked well with all my gaming consoles (WII, PS3, PSP, DS) except XBOX 360.

the funny thing is that the xbox 360 recognizes the airport express
shows it as connected with green bars

BUT..........

when i try to log into xbox online, it says that there is no connection.

fyi my airport express is the new "N" model

the funny part is that the xbox 360 has no trouble connecting & log on to xbox live with "AIRPORT EXTREME"

what is the difference with AIRPORT EXTREME & AIRPORT EXPRESS that makes this so difficult?

Plz help me troubleshoot the wireless connection between my xbox 360 and my airport express OR explain how i can find my IP address, i would be very grateful.

So when the 360 is searching for networks to join, the one that your AirPort Express is putting out doesn't show up?

I've had a problem where I set my AirPort security to WEP. I then switched it back to WPA/WPA2 and it worked fine.

but when i tried to connect it failed

ive been playing around with the security too, changing it to WPA/WPA2, WEP & no security BUT NO LUCK............
