Unable to detach iphone 4s wifi hotspot

Hi.. I have some problem with my iphone 4s wifi hotspot.. When I switch on my wifi hotspot on my iphone, my ipad took a long time to detact it n connect, even if both devices are side by side.. Sometime, I cannot even find the hotspot on the ipad.. The ipad have no problem tether via bluetooth. Please help me in this matter.. Thanks!

Reboot the iPhone. Same thing happened to me. Restarting my iPhone fixed it.

I find my iPhone 4 has a hotspot timeout, toggle the hotspot on/off/on and wait a few seconds and it'll appear on the iPad networks screen.

Any time you have an issue reboot the phone, that's common knowledge. If that doesn't deal with the issue make a genius apt. Good luck.

Use bluetooth tethering. It uses less battery than wifi.
