So I am having problems installing games from the App Store to a 2TB Samsung T7 SSD. Specifically any of the Resident Evil titles I try to download to it. When I go to download the games, it says it cannot find the disk even though the disk is in fact selected in the options. The SSD itself is APFS formatted. Any ideas of what I can do?

Games cannot be installed on an external drive (unless it is the boot drive).
You can try copying it to the external once installed on your main drive, but it may not run.

Edit
I stand corrected…. 🫣
It seems you can do this in Sequoia

Not sure if this applies to ‘games’ though.

Yeah they specifically added the feature because of games. I figured it out just for the future if anyone else has the problem. All it took was restarting my computer and it was fine.
