Hello,
I am still on the PB6 at the moment but only just noticed that I can not drag files from the desktop onto the finder unless a finder windows is actually open. I can still drag and drop a file onto other applications such as mail even if it is not open.
In previous versions of OSX I could drag a file onto the finder (dock) and it would open and copy the file into the finder window. Now it just shows a blank blurred version of my desktop wallpaper or if a finder window is open it shows a tiny preview of the window which I can drag and drop the file onto.
To me this seems to be an added unnecessary step and I can't see and reason to have changed this basic function. I will send feedback.
Thanks
