Hi everyone,

I hope someone has a solution: I reset all settings in my iPhone and was in the process of enabling notifications for all apps when I came upon two where I couldn't re-enable them.

One is PayPal. When in the app and you try to enable Notifications you are taken to the Settings app to the PayPal-entry – not to the Notifications entry. I can't find a way to enable Notifications for these apps anywhere.

Do you have an idea?
Thanks and best regards,
VSG

Ok, if anyone else comes across this bug, I have a solution ready:

Uninstall and reinstall the app. Then you should be prompted to the known "xy wants to send you notifications" dialogue.

At least it worked with both apps I had the problems with.

Thanks for posting. I ran into this very same issue a couple weeks ago and tried the same solution which of course worked.

This is actually not an iOS 11 issue. This has always been happening to me on certain apps after a reset of all settings for as long as I can remember and the solution you mentioned is the only thing that worked for me in the past too
