Problem--OS X Lion.
What I had to do was re-install SL. Got that to finally work after a week of trying to deal with the BSOD when upgraded to Lion.
Now I'm trying to get my mail/safari info transferred over back to SL from time machine files.
Problem (yes I'm an idiot have have hit my head against my wall too much for this)--I backed up using time machine in Lion, however, when I tried to find my prefs files in the time machine drive to put back into SL I can't find anything under "mail".
So at this time I've lost all my previous e-mails up to 8/16 (when I used time machine for back up in Lion which is also the first time I had used time machine).
I've had to re-build all my e-mail accounts and such and I don't know where my e-mail info/messages/prefs have disappeared to.
Any suggestions other than me shooting myself in the foot more?
I thought no matter what the OS I'd still have the files to rebuild my mail/browser info but apparently Lion doesn't do that unless its hidden and I can't figure out how to get it to be visible.
