unable to install extensions after 10.7.4 update

hi everyone,

after installing the recent lion update safari uninstalled all extensions and i am unable to reinstall them.

i get the following error : An error occurred while installing the extension “EXTENSION NAME”.

i have uninstalled safari with appzap and tried reinstalling it with no luck.

in addition i have to keep accepting certificates when browsing certain websites.

any help would be appreciated.
