Unable to install ventura on my imac 2017 27inch.

When upgraded to ventura my safari, photoshop and many other apps were crashing. Tried it twice. After downgrading again my backup was acting strange. I could no longer open files downloaded from the internet.
Pictures , docs ,pdfs.

So now I tried a clean install of ventura. Safari crashing again. Didnt even try photoshop etc. Guess its back to previous macos :/

I don't know about Safari but did you make sure your version of Photoshop was up to date? I'm holding off for a little bit on my MacBook Air. I just don't see a reason to upgrade just yet and lots of reasons not to upgrade.

I have Ventura on my M1 (laptop) and Monterey on my Mac Pro 5,1. I haven't noticed ANY issues with Ventura. Looks like you'll have to downgrade to Monterey.

My only advice: do NOT use Migration Assistant!! I've had too many issues with it (especially permissions issues) - just restore files individually from Time Machine.
