I haven’t updated to WatchOS 5.3 for a long time and I decided to do so today but each time I try downloading it keeps saying “A problem occurred when installing to your AW”. It gets stuck on “Estimatinng time remaining” before this message pops up. I have attached a screenshot below.

I have tried restarting the phone and restarting the watch and it’s not working. Watch is charged to 100% and is on the charger. What should I do at this point?

First, I would check how much free space you have on the watch. If it’s low you need to free up enough space to allow the update to commence.
If after that you still cannot continue, unpair the watch from the phone then re-pair back again.

Unpairing and repairing fixed it. Thanks.
