When I first setup my Apple TV I used my MBP as the main computer to link it with my iTunes. Rarely did my wife ever stream her music from her 12" PB. I use EyeTV to record TV shows and then edit out the commercials, re-encode over to iTunes so I can watch them on the big screen. I use the Ethernet cable to connect the two for faster transfer as it reduces an occasional jitter in the video. Lately, I can only see my videos from a shared link on iTunes as the direct connection is no longer showing under devices. I have unplugged the Apple TV and rebooted router, re-established the link thru iTunes but it only shows me my videos under the "shared computer" menu. Do I have a bad Ethernet cable? What am I doing wrong? I am no longer able to see how much space is left on the Apple-TV or edit the contents unless thru iTunes. Help please...
