I have a 2015 MacBook Pro 15” with 500gb 16GB ram running latest MacOS X High Siera


My my current issue is that I am unable to log in to my account. The computer boots, I enter my password, loading proses begins, gets half way quickly and then moves very very slowly the other half of the way and then gets stuck with full bar. Waited over 30 min. Nothing.

It all started like this:


I was loged on and working with photos. My drive had low space. I tried to save a file and got an error of unable to find location to where I was saving the file to. I was trying to save to desktop.


I run First Aid in Disk Utility which gave me an error and told me to load disk utility in recovery mode.


I run First Aid in Disk Utility in recovery mode and got this “internal error has occurred”. I the restarted the computer again into recovery mode and run first aid again and got this:

Space manager is invalid

Then an I tried diskutil repair through terminal in recovery mode and got the same:
