Unable to log in to a user account OSX10.7.4

I am unable to login to a user account.

The main Administrator account works fine.

When I type the password there is a wait time then a white screen then back to the login screen.

Suggestions Please.

Have you gone into System Preferences in Users & Groups and tried to change it?
