Unable to open iMovie Project

Friend sent me an iMovie project which is of coursework we're doing together.

He zipped it up, sent it through, and after I've unzipped it and I try to open it, all it does is load up iMovie. When I try and open it whilst iMovie is open, it doesn't do anything. Nor does it do anything when I try and drag it in.

Any ideas what could fix it?

Has he sent you the associated Events as well? Without those you won't be able to open the Project.
