I'm unable to download Xcode 15.4 on my M1 MacBook Air, apparently due to the fact that l'm running the macOS Sequoia beta.

I read that you can run the Xcode 16 beta on Sequoia, though. It downloads, but then I get the following error upon trying to open:

"Loading a plug-in failed. The plug-in or one of its prerequisite plug-ins may be missing or damaged and may need to be reinstalled"

I've tried trashing the app and re-downloading and installing. Always the same error.

Can anyone help me get past this? I installed the beta because I usually rarely use my Mac, but I’ve started a coding class and need Xcode.

Thanks for your reply! I'm very new at this stuff, but I assume the scripts the release notes mention are meant to be run in Terminal? I run them and receive an error message.

In the end, I poked around and found the beta 2 version and downloaded it. It works!

Thanks again for your response.
