Unable to partition my drive with bootcamp

I always get an error message saying that the drive cannot be partitioned. I have plenty of space in my hard drive so i don't know what the problem might be.

What are your specs (version of OSX, Mac model and year)?
Do you have a fusion drive or Firevault disk encryption turned on?
What is the exact error?

Thank you for your reply. I ended up repairing disc permissions while booting up in utility safe mode. Now everything works great and I have windows fully installed and running.
