Hi,
I've just bought a toslink to 3,5mm cable to use the optical output of my MacBook Pro (13" mid-2010, 2,4 GHz) with my Logitech Z-5500 5.1 sound system.
Music works fine.
720p or 1080p videos with Dolby Digital audio track (like TV shows episodes) work fine, and I've got real 5.1 sound (it's displayed DD 5.1 on the Z-5500 pod), so I'm happy with it.
However, I'm unable to play 1080p or 720p video files with a DTS 1.5Mbps audio track. The sound works fine, it's displayed dts digital on the Z-5500 pod. However, the video (displayed on a 23" 1920x1080 monitor using a miniDP to HDMI cable) doesn't play smoothly, it's like slow motion. I'm using MPlayerX, but I'm having the same issue with VLC 2.0.2.
What can I do, please ?
It's working fine on my Windows desktop computer, with a similar processor (C2D E6420, 2,4 GHz).

EDIT : here's the specs of a video file, for example. http://pastie.org/pastes/4198610
