Unable to print via windows to a f380

Hi, I'm new to this.

I have bought a new MacBook - wow - so much better than my IBM windows laptop.

However, I'm trying to print to a HP F380 via the windows PC. So far I have been able to get all the way up to selecting the 'Print Using' drop down and I can't find the driver. It's just not listed.

I have tried installing the HP software and if I connect the printer directly via the usb port, it works fine, so I think the drivers are all installed.

Can anyone help?

The HP-provided driver was written to only work via USB. You need a CUPS driver to use the built-in network protocols. That will be either hpijs or a newer Gutenprint than what came in OS X:

You should also complain to HP about not providing CUPS drivers.
