Unable to put MP4 video files onto iTunes

hi,

i am having difficulties putting MP4 files onto my itunes, i really dunno why it doesn't work. It worked for me before!
i got so pissed off i reformatted my Mac, and now its the same again !
i used iSquint to convert it into a MP4 format and when i drag and drop it into the iTunes it still doesn't work !!!
therefore i cannot put the video into my iPod, this is driving me nuts.

can someone out there please help me !!!!

hi, well I don't know if this will work for you- but i simply went to my downloads (or the source of the video) and right clicked it and changed the "open with" option to itunes. it should generically be opened on quicktime. now double click and let it open! i'm not entirely sure that this will work in your case, but i hope i helped! good luck.
