Hi;

As it says in the title, I used to be able to quick view images in folders by pressing the spacebar, now all I get is a spinning cog. I can still quick view .doc and .xml files but .pdf, .jpg etc just spin away. This does not happen if you are about to open images from an app such as FaceBook upload, then the SpaceBar quick view works?

I have recently upgraded to HighSierra but don't know if this flaw coincided with the upgrade?

Any ideas

Delete this file: com.apple.QuickLookDaemon.plist

Found in Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences

That Library is hidden. To access it, hold down Option while clicking on the Go Menu. Select Library.

A Restart might be necessary, to create a new file there of the same name.

That did the trick - thank you so much
