I'm able to receive text messages through iMessage, but not messages containing pictures. I'm trying to troubleshoot the issue and I can't find anything wrong. I went to SETTINGS, then iMESSAGE and on the top it says…. "activating iMessage". It's been activating for a while now and all I receive are normal text messages, but not the one's with photos.

When the green indicator light is lit in SETTINGS, does that mean it's ON or OFF. This confuses me till this day.

Thanks in advance for your help.

If it's stuck on activating there is your issue. Toggle it off then restart your phone by holding the power and home button till you see the apple logo, then turn iMessage back on, try to do this while connected to wifi.

I appreciate this. I will try it. Thank you!

Is it a newly activated phone? It could take a few hours for imessage to work.

It's 3 days old, but iMessage works on regular text. I'm receiving texts. but not texts with images.

It's no longer stuck on activation. I did the power/home button reboot and I can't receive any texts with photos. I did a test to see if I can send photos via iMessage and there is no issue there; just issues receiving images via i Message. Any suggestions?

This seems to be a major issue:

Can a few people please test to see if you're receiving text with photos?

PROBLEM SOLVED!

Network settings solved the issue. The problem with it is that it disconnected WiFi which I hadn't known. Once I entered the password to WiFi and connected, I'm able to receive test with pics.

:D
