Hi.. So, I am not sure when exactly I lost this ability.. But it had to be within the last two months. I did a lot of scanning in December, no issues. I cannot recall when I installed MacOS High Sierra.. but after spending multiple hours researching and trying to figure this out last night, I determined that apparently I can no longer use my perfect-working HP printer for any scanning in this OS. It has two options. Scan to computer, this is what I always used before. A document would automatically be saved to my MacBook Pro. All scanning is initiated at the printer. My Mac no longer comes up as an option for the distination. And when I try to scan from my Mac, the printer no longer shows up. Second option is to scan to memory card.. it won't recognize any of my cards. (Completely separate issue) I wonder if anyone else has come across this issue, scanning directly to their PC on an HP all-in-one?? Any known workarounds?? I do not NEED a new printer. In fact, I really like this printer. It's been reliable and does everything I need. I also have a bunch of ink for it and it works PERFECTLY! It does print, but I scan often. I was hoping to not have to dig out my Windows laptop, but it's looking like I might have to :( Any ideas?
