Unable to see DVD Menus on Mac Book on IDVD

Hi there,
I recently purchased Mac Book and have ILife on it. I created a photo slide show in iphoto and imovie and exported to idvd. When I preview the video in small window on side on IDVD it shows up but no dvd menu or video shows up when I preview in large window only audio

I have Mac Book 2.1 intel 4 gig of ram and 250 hard drive. The computer doesn't come with DVD burner but I have external burner and it is recognized by the computer

I did the exact same thing on Mac Book Pro and it worked

Any ideas?

First of all, make sure you're up to date, should be running iDVD 7.0.2. The next step I would recommend is testing in another user account. You can use the same video if you export the iPhoto slideshow out as a QuickTime movie and put it in the Shared user folder. If it only happens only on your user, navigate to your user library and pull the com.apple.iDVD folder from the Caches and the com.apple.iDVD.plist from the Preferences folder, and then restart your computer to test. If it happens on both, you'll have to reinstall the iDVD application.
