I have a Home Pod Mini set up under my daughter's account in her room, and it basically plays music, though I can not get it to do much more. I can send messages to it, though when trying to tell it to send a message to X it says that it does not recognize the voice, and to turn on some feature to enable it; it does this whether I try to do it or my daughter does. I go into the settings for the room and all I see are two options that are both turned on. Allow Access to Control Accessories Remotely and to Add and Edit Accessories.

Where are other options that I need to look into to make this work?

Thanks

Need to turn on voice recognition and enable personal requests...and also possibly inviting others to the Home in which it’s set up in if you want them to be able to use it too.

Pretty much what iStorm said 👆🏻… Best bet is to put all smart home devices under one main account, under one home app (I use mine in my case with a family of four) and use the voice recognition features for multiple users. Works well for us.
