Unable to share internet over ethernet with "internet sharing"

I am an IT consultant. One of the features I've used over the years with my Macbook Pro - is internet connection sharing.

I will connect my MBP to a wifi router and then share ethernet to a non wireless computer.

Tried this with the new MBA with apple's usb wired adapter - didn't work.
