I am running into connection timeouts. How does one do this? It has been awhile since I have done this and not having luck.

I am using the address provided in the sharing tab of general preferences (user@ip addy)

Am I overlooking something obvious?

I have no issues logging in when on the same network, but only when on a different network

If you haven’t already, you’ll probably need to setup port forwarding. Check your router’s user manual/guide for specific instructions.

I will also note that even with port forwarding configured, you may still have trouble accessing anything on your home network when outside of your home. My ISP’s setup is a bit different than most, so this might not apply in most cases.
