When I go to energy saver and system preferences, there is no option to switch from the 9400m to the 9600m GT. Also, the system profiler only displays the 9400m. Worse, whenever I load XP, the screen just stays pitch black, no loading screen or anything (the backlight is off) but I can still hear the hard drive spinning and it seems to be loading properly in the background. I'm thinking that the two problems may be related, since we all know that the MBP only uses the 9600m GT in Windows.
I've tried almost everything short of reinstalling XP (I didn't back up my files in XP) including reinstalling OS X. I just hope that my 9600 didn't crap out on me....
