Unable to sync after restoring back to iOS 8.0 from 8.0.1

Anyone else experiencing this? I've restored back to iOS 8.0 but now my phone won't sync with iTunes. The sync just crashes while trying to sync my apps across.
Edit: It's always on the second app that it stops.

OTA or via cable? Suggest using cable for the first sync (if not using one.) If already using one, I don't know what's next.

Remove objectionable app, restart iPhone and then try again?
