I have not been able to transfer my albums from my iPad Air to the new Photo App on my mac. I was not able to do it from ipad to iPhoto anyway
The photos were transferred from a previous mac to my current iPad. Long story... the iPhoto in that mac was corrupted and I could not recover it, etc
I received message stating that I cannot sync photos from my iPad that were sync via itunes and then 4800 photos would be deleted from my ipad and of course I did not proceed
Sadly, I don't have the original mac in which I sync the iPad photos and the only copy of my albums are in the iPad
It took me long time to create albums on that mac and sync with my current iPad
I read somewhere that there area apps such as Simple Transfer Pro and they transfer content from iPad to a new Mac
Your help will be appreciated
