Is anyone else having issues installing the update?

I've tried updating over ethernet, wifi, restarting multiple times, but it keeps failing. Restoring also didn't work. I have no idea what to try next since I can't even connect it to iTunes.

Yes same here. I’m on the beta but same thing. It says there is an update downloads and installs but then fails. Keep saying to restart but it simply does the same again.

I can’t be bothered going upstairs to get my MacBook and do some diagnostics as I’m comfortable on our sofa :)

Are you using an Apple TV 4K? Just wondering if this is affecting other models too.

Same here! Problem on my new Apple TV 4K and my regular Apple TV 4gen as well

I didn't have any problem updating to 11.1. This is the most recent update available to me according to the update screen. If its not the latest version then I am having a problem lol.

Same here but not the 4K, 3rd Gen...I reset the ATV then ran the update and it worked finally!

Guys hate to hijack this but I have a related question.

I’m had issues updating as well. Finally was able to.

My question is. Now I am on the 11.2 beta 2 - when 11.2 release to public hits will my system update to that even though it thinks its on 11.2?

guys, I had the same issue and it drove me crazy...
however, I tried resetting, restarting, like a zillion times, all in vain

now i'm trying sth which seems to be responding, which is: switching the Wi-Fi network to the 2.4GHz instead of the 5GHz... and apparently it's downloading the update now! don't know what's the issue behind it, but trying a different wifi frequency got things moving somewhere, i'll update you if it worked.
