unable to update to 10.14.4

I'm currently stuck at 10.14.3 because the updater always gives me the "macOS could not be installed on your computer / The installer resources were not found" message. The update process starts normally but once the mac restarts it always ends up with this error message.

Anyone having the same problem?

(specs on my sig)


...I've tried both the software update and combo download options...

Mine is worse. Upgraded to Mojave just fine. It finds a software update and I have it update again. Now my iMac won't boot. I've also tried re-installing Mojave from recovery mode but that doesn't succeed. I either get your "installer resources were not found" or an error about how the update couldn't be applied. Safe mode doesn't work. Going to call support tomorrow.
