I've got a problem, hopefully somebody can help me. Sorry for my English, I hope you understand me.

The problem is that since I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max, I can't load my pictures to my Macbook Pro from 2011.
I can see the pictures in the app I use (don't know the official English name for that app, but it's a standard app at my Macbook) but when I transfer the pictures to my Macbook, I can't open them. Also with the offical Apple 'Photo' app, I can't transfer the pictures. I didn't have the problem with my old iPhone, an iPhone Xs Max. I also changed the format of the pictures to HEIC and JPG, but with both formats I can't transfer the pictures from my iPhone 12 Pro Max to my (old) Macbook Pro from 2011. I tried to transfer to a newer Macbook of a friend and that was succesfull. Also transering the pictures to a windows laptop was succesfull, put them on a usb stick, but also than I can't open them at my Macbook.

What to do now? :-( Hopefully somebody knows a solution, otherwise I have to buy a new Macbook.
