Can anyone recommend where to get a short USB C to USB A cable that works at 10Gbps? I want .2m and .5m to connect a NVMe SSD enclosure to a USB A 10Gbit port. By a recommendation, I would like one that you have actually used and verified that it transfers at 10Gbps. I thought this would be a trivial issue, but after 6 cables that failed, I am looking for help. Before you comment that it must be my hub/port/device, I had been using a .5m cable that works perfectly all the time. Turns out I need another one, and I dont remember where I got the one that works. It is braided and I think it came with an enclosure. I have purchased 4 cables, I have tested several others that came with enclosures and this is what happens when I connect my NVme SSD via USB C to my hub and use blackmagic: 1)Cable 1: runs at half speed compared to my cable. 2) Cable 2: runs at half speed on write, hangs on read 3) cable 3: same as cable 2 ... you get the idea. All these cables are stated to be 10Gbps. To test the hub, I tried the same tests on a completely different hub. I get similar results. My cable works fine, with even faster speeds on the other hub. The others hang worse.

Any recommendations for a 10Gbps USB C to USB A cable .2m or .5m that you have verified works at 10Gbps would be greatly appreciated!

After much research, I found nothing, BUT I found a USA based reputable seller that was willing to sell the cables they included with their 10Gbps hub. They added this product at my request to their website. Free shipping.

I received the cable today and tested it. Doesnt work. Back to the drawing board.
edit: But it works fine in their hubs, just not on other hubs. this is very strange.

Next step - I am buying a USB-IF certified cable and test it on all my hubs and devices. Unfortunately, no one sells a USB IF certified cable a foot or less.
