I bought a mac from my school after graduation. Because it was owned by my school, they had blocked a bunch of games. When I got it, they had supposedly removed all the restrictions. and made the admin account mine

Well, it's a few months later, and I want to play minecraft, however, when I copy minecraft into my applications folder, and double click it to play, I get the attached error message, then it gets rid of minecraft from my applications folder.

There are no parental controls or profiles installed, so I'm not sure how they did this. Any help on how to fix it without having to do a clean install?

You could try a different user profile, or just contact the school and tell them what's up.

It looks like they blocked it using Parental Controls. If you have admin access and the password, just go to Settings, Users, and disable Parental Controls (or at least allow Minecraft).
