Unboxing new iP4S

This may be a dumb question, but for all of you who got your phones at the store (Verizon), did your box still come with the plastic covering?

This may sound stupid but I ask because I'm about to pick mine up and I don't want to get one previously owned. Is it Verizon's policy to unwrap it in front of you or do they do that in the back? How will I know it's brand new? I just don't want someone else's returned phone...

Apple doesn't put refurbs in retail packaging. You're a bit paranoid I think..... You'll get a new phone when you purchase a new phone. Now take off the tin foil hat and go get your new phone.
