My proirities are getting an upgraded camera, good battery life, 5G. I also need 256GB at least. Things like Pro Motion and a smaller notch are less important to me.

1) I am seriously considering buying an iPhone 12, 256G in purple on Monday just in case they discontinue the 256G versions of the iPhone 13. I would consider an iPhone 13 if pricing, colors, and options look right

2) I was likely going to get the regular iPhone 13 Pro - however, reports of battery life being impacted by Pro Motion give me some pause.

3) I could just continue with the MAX and get the iPhone 13 Pro Max - however, I am concerned it will be slightly heavier than even the iPhone 12 Pro Max, and I prefer the 11 Pro Max size over the 12 Pro Max (at least when I played with it in stores)

I guess I could just keep the iPhone 11 Pro Max and wait for the 13. But I do want the camera upgrades and 5G, iPhone 11 Pro Max camera seems less impressive now than it did when I first go it (honestly I think my fiancé's iPhone 11 takes pictures that are just as good)

Since the iPhone 13 hasn't been announced yet, the obvious thing to do now is wait for Tuesday's presentation.

The 256GB iPhone 12 will be available after the 13 launch at a slightly reduced price. So no point in buying one on Monday.

120hz promotion screen surely will have a toggle to turn it on & off (to save battery life).

If you're concerned about the possible weight increase of the 13 pro max, either buy one and feel the weight yourself (while wearing gloves and not peeling off the plastic) then return it if it feels too heavy, or go into an Apple Store (yuck) and play with one on display (double yuck).

Don't sell your current phone until you've decided for sure what you want to do

the 12 pro max doesnt feel to different from the 11 pro max in terms of size in my honest opinion.

Rather wait, great as the 12 is it’s not a jump from the 11 Pro Max and you may see regression in battery life to.

At least if you wait a few more days you can even get the 12 at a reduced price.

My best advice though is if the 13 doesn’t impress rather just get the battery in your 11 Pro Max replaced and keep going with it.

Simple, download the apple store app, make sure your credentials are up to date, as soon as preorders open, hit buy on that 13 pro max bad boy, you’re welcome. 😎😁

BREAK THE SERVERS 😃

Wait for iPhone 14. None of the updates in 12 or 13 are that significant unless you care about hdr video. Only thing I’m looking forward to are the MacBooks.
